What Is Thread Count?
Thread count is the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric — horizontal (weft) + vertical (warp) threads combined.
The honest rule: more threads per inch usually means a softer, denser sheet — but only up to a limit. After that, the numbers are inflated.
